Dr. Tasnim Alami-Laroussi founded an organization that offers support adapted to children with special needs, and free dental care to children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
For better oral and overall health of children, Dr. Tasnim Alami-Laroussi founded the organization Sourires solidaires, which offers personalized support to children with special needs, in particular children with anxiety disorder, attention deficit disorder (with or without hyperactivity), or on the autism spectrum, as well as free dental services for children from disadvantaged backgrounds. She is a Femmessor laureate, an award given to the top 100 women entrepreneurs who are changing the world.
Dr. Alami-Laroussi obtained her Doctorate un Dental Medecine in 2009 and an attestation in health services administration in 2020 from the University of Montreal. To carry out her project, she can count on the collaboration of several bodies to educate families about healthy dental habits and screen children who have a higher risk of cavities.
