We are pleased to announce that Sourires Solidaires, the first non-profit community pediatric dental clinic in Quebec, is officially operating in the Chomedey district of Laval.
The inauguration of the Sourires Solidaires community pediatric dental clinic took place on August 17, 2021. The operation, services and programs of the clinic were unveiled to the guests who were present at the inauguration. This event was sponsored by Henry Schein, a major dental equipment manufacturer, and with the financial involvement of the City of Laval.

Unique in Quebec, Sourires Solidaires is committed to providing accessible and adapted care to all children, according to the nature of their needs, in complementarity with public services.
The objective of Sourires Solidaires is to offer dental services in an equitable manner to all children, including those with special needs and/or from underprivileged backgrounds. “I salute all the parents who come here, to us, for their trust, but above all for their courage to tell us their stories”, quoted Dr. Tasnim Alami Laroussi, co-founder of Sourires Solidaires, who warmly thanked her team and all the partners and collaborators who participated in the success of this project.
“Sourires Solidaires is made possible thanks to the help and the support of all those who are present and those who believed in this idea”, says Dr Farid Amer-Ouali, co-founder of Sourires Solidaires, before concluding: “On behalf of the entire team, we would like to thank you for your support. Your presence helped make this moment the start of a great adventure that will allow us to spread smiles for many years to come”.
